No.47[2022]Notice on Epidemic Prevention and Control of Kunshan

From 0:00 to 24:00, April 10, Kunshan reported no local confirmed case, and 6 local asymptomatic cases.

From March 10 to April 10, Kunshan reported 3 local confirmed cases, all receiving medical treatment at designated hospitals; and 176 local asymptomatic cases, all under medical observation at designated medical facilities.

Currently, the number of COVID-19 infections remains high in Kunshan’s neighboring cities, and the situation of prevention and control is extremely severe and complicated. Multiple COVID-19 infections were also registered in Kunshan in recent days. To effectively contain the transmission of the coronavirus, Kunshan is strictly implementing citywide static management. Unnecessary movements have been suspended to make the city slow down and be static. We must fully understand the complexity and difficulty in fighting the epidemic and quickly stem its transmission with determined attitude and more decisive measures.

We call on all residents to keep raising awareness of personal prevention, and avoid gathering, dropping around or attending dinner parties. Please tune in to the official news platforms for whereabouts of local COVID-19 infections, and proactively cooperate in all epidemic prevention and control measures. In case of fever, cough or other suspicious symptoms, take personal prevention measures and seek medical treatment at a nearby medical facility as soon as possible. When finding someone coming or returning to Kunshan, please report relevant information in a timely manner. Those who intentionally hide epidemic-related information or fail to report it immediately and thus cause the transmission of the coronavirus will be held accountable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
